Voting is the Best Revenge?

Barack Obama recently said that voting is the best revenge! I’ve seen the video clip of him saying that, and I’ve heard talking heads puzzle over what he meant by it, but I haven’t heard anyone actually explain what he meant by it, so I will. He meant that if you vote for him, he will take money from those who have it and give it to those who resent other people having more money than they do. In other words, he’s a despicable demagogue who thinks he can get re-elected by appealing to the dark side of human nature. We will soon see if his appraisal of the American electorate is accurate. If it is, we have much to fear. Republicans are betting on the positive side. They believe that Americans will do what is right for their country. If anyone is justified in seeking revenge at the polls, it’s all of us who have had our finances ransacked by this incompetent and irresponsible administration.
